Aiming High Support
Community Play Events

We work in partnership to provide exciting, stimulating play opportunities for children, young people and families.

These events would not be possible without the time and generosity of:
  • Volunteers
  • Councillors
  • Funders
  • Local businesses
  • Statutory organisations
  • Voluntary groups

We would like to thank everyone for their support.

Gedling Play Partnership Events
Gedling Borough Council are sponsoring our community play activites for 2010.

These events will happen throuout the year and include Chinese new year, Alternative, Halloween, Colwick and Papplewick play events, See events page for futher details.

Many thanks to Gedling Borough Councillor Wendy Golland and Councillor M.A. Wright who have also given grants to purchase two heavy duty marquees for use at  community events.

Kellogg's Active Living Fund,  through Greater Manchester Community Foundation
Thanks to a grant from KELLOGG'S ACTIVE LIVING FUND a new range of physical play equipment including a Sports Day Pack, Boccia and Active kids Pack, Circus Skills and a Creative Movement kits.  We will be using the equipment at community play events including Arnold Playday. Equipment is available for local clubs to use. Great ways to encourage fitness through
  play

Consultation
We often use these events to consult with children and young people about what activities and facilities they would like to be offered.
